All brass oxidizes with time; however, all raw brass can be shined back up to its original state with lemon juice and salt or regular toothpaste. Brass jewelry should be kept out of humid conditions, so if you store your jewelry in a bathroom you should use a jewelry box or bag to keep your piece super beautiful for a long time to come.
